Abroad Is Calling

I have noticed that not everything that I have wished to do in the UK I actually did and this is how I started thinking about going abroad and looking for a better place to make a career and for a better way of earning money protected from the tax problems that many of us are struggling with in the land of the Queen.
My first look was at Switzerland - definitely the country that I would be most likely to choose if I had a say on where to earn a good deal of money without the burden of tax. They do pay tax - however, the tax for working in the country is 20% - this is the most you can pay even if you earn more than your grandchildren would be ever able to spend. And this is the good thing - that you earn tax protected money simply because you know that if you earn below the income that generates 20% of tax, you would be paying very little indeed. The job opportunities are manly related with finance and law but you can pick up an area of science or being one of the red diesel suppliers or anything else that you want despite facing a more severe competition.
Secondly, the Nordic region is also a place that I would like to work in. Swede and Norway have the happiest people in Europe - an indicator that tells us they earn pretty good money. The tax system is similar to the Swiss one plus the prices of goods, foods, services and so on is quite more affordable and is accompanied by other tax-related issues - buying a TV there does not mean paying TV license and having a house does not mean a quite huge amount of council tax. It is all a matter of buying and spending and the countries have made it clear that as long as you provide services and labour, your work would be properly financed and you will be well off with the occupation you have picked up.
